Sony Broadcast & Professional Europe is pleased to announce its renewed support of the Rory Peck Trust. This follows on from our initial three-year relationship with the Trust, which started in 1996 when the organisation was established.

Sony is keen to work closely with the Rory Peck Trust to promote their work and allow them to benefit from our resources as well as our funding. This, we believe, will give Sony employees a better understanding of the issues faced by the causes we support and enable them to develop skills beyond the scope of their traditional workplace environment.

We will be working on an ongoing basis with the trust to help them make real the ideas, projects and issues that the charity is working on - supporting the tremendous work that Tina Carr and her team have achieved over the past few years.

Today, rapid developments in technology are allowing journalists to capture footage of incidents from places previously inaccessible. It seems right then that, as one of the companies enabling such opportunities, we should also recognise those who specialise in this genre
