The Rory Peck Awards is an international competition, which celebrates and honours the work of freelance cameramen and camerawomen in TV news, current affairs and documentaries. This annual event is the main fundraiser for The Rory Peck Trust. The Awards honour those freelancers who, in the spirit of Rory Peck, have shown initiative, skill, tenacity and courage whilst filming in difficult conditions during the previous year.
