For the last four years we have been working closely with one of our key sponsors - Sony Business Europe - and in that time we received a great deal of support, advice, staff time and, not least, funding. Miles Flint has been the owner of this relationship, and it is through his involvement that we have been able to achieve so much and develop such a strong, and mutually beneficial, relationship between the two organisations.

Sadly, Miles has recently moved from Sony Business Europe to take up the role of President for Sony Ericsson. We pass on our congratulations, and wish him all the best in his new role. We'd also like to take this opportunity to express how grateful we are for his input and advice over the last four years. It has been very clear that Miles values the sponsorship of the Rory Peck Awards beyond the direct benefits to the company. His speeches and articles portray a genuine interest and passion for our work
Because of this change of roles, Miles will no longer be able to represent Sony and its work with the Trust. However, the good news is that the Trust 'baton' has been passed to a familiar, and very welcome face. Naomi Climer, Director, Professional Services, will now represent Sony - she is well known in the broadcast industry, having worked for a number of organisations such as the BBC and ITV Digital.

Naomi has already indicated that she is very keen to be actively involved with our work, and we look forward to developing a strong working relationship with her.
