THE RORY PECK TRUST

CRITERIA FOR GRANT GIVING

The Rory Peck Trust can give crisis-relief grants in cases where:

• The freelancer was a bona-fide freelancer
• The deceased was the main or sole breadwinner for the family
• The family has been left in difficult financial circumstances as a direct result of the death

The Rory Peck Trust will take into consideration:

• Any other financial compensation the dependants have received / will receive - i.e. insurance payouts; compensation from contracting broadcaster; other charitable grants etc.
• The number and nature of the dependants, i.e. spouse, children, parents, siblings
• Any special needs they may have eg. medical or educational
• The geographic location of the family: i.e. relative cost of living

In order to make our assessment we require:

• As much information as possible on the application form
• Full supporting documentation

All grant applications will be individually considered by the Trustees of the Rory Peck Trust. Their decision will be final.
