Training Bursaries

The scheme is open for contributions from both individual and corporate benefactors.

The Rory Peck Training Fund provides bursaries enabling freelance media workers worldwide to benefit from specialist safety training. Since it began in 2000, funds have come as contributions from broadcasters, newspapers, other organisations and individuals, in whose names the bursaries are distributed.

Since it began in 2000, the Fund has enabled over 180 freelancers to undertake safety training.

WITH YOUR HELP, WE COULD TRAIN MORE... YOUR BURSARY WILL:

• Be distributed in the name of your choice.
• Be offered only to an applicant who has been working as a bona fide professional freelancer for a minimum of 18 months. Eligibility is strictly assessed by the Rory Peck Trust.
• Provide a subsidy of between 75% - 100% depending upon the individual cost of the course.
• NOT earn you any interest - but it may help to save a life. Or two.
