This year we received 45 entries, more than ever
before. Many of your names were new to us. You all
make a huge effort to get your footage in. The past year has provided some of the most unforgettable images ever broadcast and you have caught them all.

At the Awards ceremony, a specially compiled montage of clips showed the range and quality of your work, enabling the audience to appreciate once again how vital freelancers are to television newsgathering around the world.
