The Rory Peck Trust is looking to recruit a bright, creative and committed Communications Intern with a passion for journalism / international news and current affairs, to help maintain its online platforms, write clear and engaging copy, and assist with ongoing communications activities.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience of updating online platforms and the ability to write clear and engaging copy.  He/she will also be used to undertaking research, producing accurate and well-presented reports, and maintaining up to date records. We're looking for an excellent communicator (written and verbal), who is well organised; a team player, capable of working on their own initiative, and with the ability to multi-task. Experience of video production and Photoshop is desirable (but not essential), as is fluency in another language.

This is a good opportunity for someone looking to gain experience of communications within an international non-profit / media environment. This is a varied and interesting role, working with a small, dedicated team.

We are looking for a commitment of 2 days per week for a minimum of 6 months, starting February 2012.

Internships at The Rory Peck Trust are on a voluntary basis. The Trust reimburses all reasonable travelling expenses within London, and other job-related expenses.
